Star since ancient time are described as forever, hope, destiny, heaven and freedom. Some believe that falling stars make our wishes. This abstract painting titled "The Sea of Fallen Stars" inspired by the wishes of children who live in Kerora village, Rinca island - Indonesia; who wish to have an access to education to pursue their dream. In the process of making this painting, i seek to create excitement and beauty on a tactile and emotional level and i allow the art to flow from my imagination using intuition to guide the journey. I hope viewers can feel and make their own discoveries and connection. With the support of School Boat Indonesia fundraising event and through this painting, i hope to convey to the viewer to look beyond their eyes and see themselves as the star to make the children's wish come true. I believe if we could make someone else's wish come true, it could change our own life in the process and realize that we all connected as beings. Together we could create life-changing wish experience for children who live in Kerora village, Rinca island in Indonesia.
